What does "Pro-rated" mean?

This is what our "competitors" call a "warranty" :

0 - 12 Months  Free Replacement 
2 - 36 Months - 50% Credit Toward Replacement 
36 - 48 Months - 25% Credit Toward Replacement 
48 - 60 Months - 10% Credit Toward Replacement

They call it Pro-rated, we call it SNEAKY. Our warranties do what warranties should, cover you for the LIFE of the warranty.
